2017 Chavy-Chouet Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseigneres - 91 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères comes from a 60-year old parcel that Hubert Chavy purchased at the beginning of the 1980s and essentially got it for free as part of an exchange. It used to be rented to other growers and lies just across the road from Chassagne. It has a fragrant bouquet with flecks of white chocolate and almond, like a pimped up version of the Les Femelottes. The palate is medium-bodied with a fine thread of acidity, vibrant and poised with a touch of salinity on the finish. Bon vin. - Neal Martin"

2018 Chavy-Chouet Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseigneres - 90 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères has an attractive bouquet of lemon curd and orange blossom aromas. The palate is well balanced with good weight in the mouth, quite Chassagne-like in style, which is no surprise given that the vines abut that appellation. There is a nice touch of orange peel toward the precise finish. Drink over the next decade. - Neal Martin"

2019 Chavy-Chouet Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseigneres - 89 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères comes from a single parcel, the last plot before you reach Chassagne-Montrachet. It has a bright nose of Granny Smith apples and freshly sliced pear. The palate is nicely balanced with a touch of flintiness, although coming after the Meursaults, it does feel a bit mean on the finish. - Neal Martin"

2020 Chavy-Chouet Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseigneres - 91 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères has a delightful, clean and precise bouquet with vibrant citrus fruit, mirabelle and a touch of juniper. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, orange zest and apricot, poised and focused towads the finish that lingers in the mouth. Fine tension here. Excellent. - Neal Martin"
