2014 Casir dos Santos Reserve Malbec - 88 PTS - WA

wa88"The 2014 Reserve Malbec is a blend of grapes from Valle de Uco and Maipú with a fruit-driven nose and nicely integrated spicy aromas from having had 20% of the wine in barrique and the rest in contact with oak staves for some nine months. It's a juicy, fruit-driven, sweet Malbec, approachable and easy to drink. 60,000 bottles produced. - Luis Gutiérrez"

2017 Casir dos Santos Reserve Malbec - 89 PTS - WA

wa89"The 2017 Reserve Malbec is a straightforward varietal, apparently now produced exclusively with grapes from Vista Flores in the Valle de Uco and Maipú. It shows some concentration and ripeness without excess, matured in second and third use barriques for eight months but nicely balanced and integrated. It has a medium to full body and some dusty tannins. It develops a beeswax and honey note after some time in the glass. 6,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in Mach 2019. - Luis Gutiérrez"
