The Sexton Vineyard Pinot Noir is a beautiful wine with bright and lively aromatics. This wine is big and yet balanced with good density and concentration showing decent tannin and acidity with flavors of cranberries balanced out with raspberries and darker fruits with the earthy forest floor notes for which the Sexton Vineyard is known. This is a very complex and complete Pinot.
No residual sugar.

Drip irrigation only when needed. Harvested by hand. Hand sorted at the winery. 25% whole cluster fermentation. Cold soak for a week with hand punchdowns in 1 ton bins then inoculated fermentation in the same bins. Pressed to barrel and spontaneous ML fermentation in barrel. This wine was never racked until the blend was put together the week before bottling. Aged in French oak barrels for 10 months. 100% French Oak 80% new (3 FF, 2 Boutes) 20% 1 year (1 Boutes) all M+. No fining or filtering. The 2019 was bottled in July of 2020 so it has been bottle ageing for 3 years.
