In 2018, Avennia partners Chris Peterson and Marty Taucher were exploring potential new vineyards across Washington to add to their existing winery line-up. One visit to WeatherEye vineyard was all that was needed to inspire them to dream big and launch what has become one of Washington State's most acclaimed wineries. Scores and reviews for the initial and subsequent vintages have validated their belief that WeatherEye vineyard, combined with artisan winemaking techniques, can deliver extraordinary results.
Our wines are sourced exclusively from the singular WeatherEye Vineyard which straddles the top of Red Mountain, vines sloped to the north and south. We bring a wealth of experience to the vanguard of Washington grape growing. These wines strive to reflect the wisdom gained from experience translated to the future.
