"This rosé appears so pretty in the glass with its watermelon hue and presents a refreshing summery nose. Find notes of watermelon slices and yellow peaches sprinkled with sea salt. Think of pairings similar to prosciutto-wrapped melon. This is a solid rosé to enjoy all summer long."

wa90"A blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 15% Cinsault, 10% Carignan and 5% Mourvèdre, Mordorée's 2022 Cotes du Rhone Rose is the lightest colored of the three rosés I tasted from this biodynamic estate. It's still a solid medium-pink hue in the glass, with hints of copper. Scents of cherries and peaches are joined by hints of lime zest on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is almost gravelly in texture, adding another pleasing element, before finishing bright and refreshing. A bit more concentrated than I remember previous vintages, it should even drink well into 2024. - Joe Czerwinski"

jeb dunnuck logo 250"This estate makes brilliant rosé, and the 2021 Côtes Du Rhône Rosé might be the best I've tasted from the vintage. Ripe raspberries, white flowers, and beautiful minerality define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a fresh, elegant, almost crystalline-like texture that keeps you coming back to the glass. Seemingly in between a Provencal rosé and a Tavel, it's going to be incredibly versatile on the dinner table. Don't miss it"

vinous logo"Bright orange. Ripe red berries, tangerine and succulent flowers and herbs on the nose. In a broad, weighty style, imparting juicy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a spicy snap of white pepper. Finishes smooth and long, with the cherry and floral notes repeating. This is definitely a wine better suited to being served with food than by itself - this is a Tavel producer, after all, and one of the very best of that region. - Josh Raynolds

Some real structure means that this won’t fade away if you forget a bottle in a corner for a few months. Drink or hold."

Palate-caressing raspberry, bitter cherry and tangerine flavors reveal a deeper suggestion of nectarine. Smooth and expansive on the persistent finish, which repeats the pit and red fruit notes. - Josh Raynolds"

jeb dunnuck logo 250"The 2019 Cotes Du Rhone La Dame Rousse Rose offers another level of elegance and purity as well as complexity. Giving up notions of ripe strawberries, cherry blossoms, white flowers, and a kiss of minerality, it’s a beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied, incredibly balanced effort that actually has a touch more richness than the Tavel, although both are rich, textured rosés geared for the table. As with the Tavel, drink this beauty any time over the coming year or so."

wine enthusiast 92 pts"This intensely plummy, black-fruited rosé offers a fantastic, well-priced alternative to this producer's increasingly expensive flagship Tavel. A full-bodied, voluminous blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, it's luminous and concentrated but freshly balanced by strikes of cut stone and salt. Drink now through 2021. - ANNA LEE C. IIJIMA"

It’s softly textured and easy drinking and, while dry, offers sweet, ripe red berry aromas and flavors that linger and linger. A perfect pairing for grilled chicken. 40% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 15% Cinsault, 5% Carignan, and 5% Mourvedre from a 14 ha parcel of 25 year old vines grown on diverse soils. - Don Winkler"

jeb dunnuck logo 250"The light pink-colored 2018 Côtes Du Rhône La Dame Rousse Rosé is a smoking rosé that offers vibrant notes of white peach, cherries, and white flowers. With plenty of texture, a rounded, mouthfilling style, and yet still incredible freshness and purity, it puts just about every barely colored Provençal rosé out here to shame. It's a gem of a rosé to enjoy over the coming summer months.."
