This Riesling Auslese Caldo X is made from partially botrytized fruit picked at 104° Oechsle and was fermented down to fully sweet levels of residual sugar (102g/l). A noble-sweet wine with a stunning nose made of almond paste, honey, vineyard peach, floral elements, citrusy notes, and smoke. The wine offers great presence on the palate, where almond, canned yellow peach, and coconut interplay with honey and exotic fruits. It leaves an almost salty feel in the silky and fruity finish. A touch of dried fruits and honey adds depth to the long and balanced aftertaste.
