The name of the cuvée El Pionero (The Pioneer) is relatated to the historical journey of Manuel Quintano to Bordeaux.
The wine is a blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha, and is aged for 12-14 months in 225 and 500 liter new French oak barrels.
Color: Cherry red with violet trim.
Aroma: Complex and balanced with balsamic notes, cocoa and licorice.
Taste: Friendly and velvety, well structured with balsamic memories.
