Grace Town Petite Sirah
Grace Town Wines
United States - California - Lodi

The Lodi Appellation has a classic Mediterranean climate, featuring warm days and cool evenings. Situated 100 miles directly east of the San Francisco Bay, at the edge of the San Joaquin/Sacramento River Delta, cool delta breezes provide the region with reliable, natural air conditioning throughout the growing season. This perfect climate allows one to consistently craft a diverse set of delicious, full-flavored wines that display a refreshing natural acidity.

Petite Sirah, aka Durif, is French in origin and originally a seeding cross of Syrah and Peloursin, which yields wines that are dark, rich and bold. Grace Town Petite Sirah is dark in color with prunes, cherries, vanilla, long flavors. A complex red wine that complements a variety of dishes.

2018 Grace Town Petite Sirah - 88 PTS - SILVER - BTI

bti silver 2022"Black ruby color. Aromas and flavors of dark chocolate mousse with mint, spicy boysenberry pie a la mode, raisin compote, and sassafras with a supple, bright, fruity medium-to-full body and a tingling, interesting, medium-long finish that shows notes of caramel apple, roasted nuts in vanilla custard, cedar, and curry with moderate oak flavor. A brawny, brooding, barrel-chested red that brings a boatload of bright, chewy, blue fruits to the bash.”
