Darling Brew Slow Beer
South Africa - Darling

Inspired by the Geometric Tortoise (Psammobates geometricus), endemic to the Western Cape of South Africa and extremely threatened, especially by illegal trade, this is the original Darling Beer. The lesson learned from the tortoise is to "take it slow". Life does not need to be a mad rush to the finish line.

Malty German lager with golden color. A blend of light malt and herbal/floral hop with mild citrus, initially light sulfur notes, evaporating quickly. Clean aroma profile with minimal to none fruity ester notes. Balanced maltiness, medium to well-attenuated, crisp with a mild bitterness., with fresh, lightly spicy, herbal, citrus hop profile, mild to medium bitterness.
