Lexicon varietal wines are carefully selected by Fran Kysela to show the essence of each variety, along with its terroir of origin, both of which are essential elements of a good wine.
A strong sense of berry comes with an elegant touch of oak and vanilla aromas. The palate is fruity, but the tannins are quite present. The flavors are classic for a Mendoza Cabernet Sauvignon wine - plum, dark berry, fig cookie and chocolate - with a lengthy finish.
Anything on the grill, particularly, beef and pork.

"The 2014 Lexicon Cabernet Sauvignon shows the Cabernet's more chocolaty, tobacco leaf and black and red currant side and has a similar color to its stable mates. The wine boasts loads of fruit, good texture and length. All of these wines probably have more aging potential than I would risk, but they are clearly meant to be drunk when released, and no doubt will hold onto their fruity intensity for several years, if not longer."
