"The flagship here, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Reine Des Bois is a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, 5% Syrah, and 5% Vaccarèse from the pebbly soils of the Le Bois de la Ville, Cabrières, and La Crau lieux-dits. Deep ruby/purple-hued, it has just stunning aromatics of blackberries, peppery garrigue, crushed stone, graphite, and smoke. Brought up mostly in stainless steel, with 20% in older barrels, it's medium to full-bodied on the palate and has a concentrated, pure, focused, layered mouthfeel, remarkable purity, fine tannins, and a great finish. I'd put this beauty up with the top wines of the vintage. It deserves just 4-5 years of bottle age and will see its 20th birthday in fine form. Drink 2031-2044."
