2008 Bressia Conjuro - IWC - 89 PTS

tanzer iwc 89 pts(50% malbec, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 20% merlot): Saturated ruby. Superripe, almost porty black fruits on the nose. Rich, tactile and saline in the mouth, showing more sweetness than energy and definition. Impressively lush but also very ripe and a bit aggressive. Where can this wine go in bottle?

2008 Bressia Conjuro - WA - 93 PTS

Wine Advocate 93 PtsThe 2008 Conjuro has a lifted, opulent bouquet of macerated red cherries, raspberry and wild strawberry that is very well-defined and seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, succulent red fruit, seamlessly integrated oak and a supple, harmonious, elegant finish. Drink 2013-2025. - NM

2009 Bressia Conjuro - WA - 92 PTS

Wine Advocate 92 Pts"The 2009 Conjuro is a blend of 50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. It has a strong influence from the oak and the Bordeaux grapes also come through quite strong, resulting in an herbal, smoky, spicy character with abundant notes of aniseed and licorice. The palate is extremely powerful, full-bodied and intense, yet it feels balanced. A bodybuilder of a blend. 2,500 bottles produced. I’d opt for giving it a little more time in bottle. Drink 2015-2020."

2010 Bressia Conjuro - 92 PTS - WE

wine enthusiast 92 pts"Oaky lead aromas fold in can't-miss spicy scents of clove, allspice and cinnamon. The palate on this blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is dense but light on its feet. Flavors of oaky raspberry, cassis and cocoa powder finish toasty, rooty and with a fine feel. Drink through 2019. — M.S."

tim atkin logo 250"Conjuro is a blend of Malbec with 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, aged entirely in French oak. It's more tannic than Profundo with more concentration and acidity, but also the perfume that's the hallmark of the Uco Valley. Like most Bressia reds, this needs time in bottle. Drink: 2015-22"

2011 Bressia Conjuro - 88+ PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo 250"Bright, full ruby. Cool, peppery restraint to the vibrant aromas of blackberry, bitter chocolate and licorice. Dense, chocolaty and rich; quite ripe and oaky. Seems slightly more open-knit in its grain than the Bressia Profundo. But this blend is still a bit youthfully stunted."

2012 Bressia Conjuro - 91 PTS - WA

wa91"The top of the range red, the 2012 Conjuro is a blend of 50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot from the Valle de Uco aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months. 2012 was a warm, ripe vintage with healthy grapes, and the wine shows it. There are plenty of notes of cinnamon and vanilla, and some smoky and balsamic notes reminiscent of incense. The palate is full-bodied, and the effect of the élevage is still pretty obvious, with abundant, slightly dry tannins and a remarkable, intense finish. An XXL red that needs time in bottle and powerful food. - Luis Gutiérrez"
