"Based on 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre, the 2018 Vacqueyras Chateau Mazane shows a slightly more modern vibe (it’s aged in tank and barrel) in its rocking red and blue fruits, graphite, smoked earth, and peppery garrigue aromas and flavors. With medium to full-bodied richness, a round, supple mouthfeel, and plenty of underlying structure, it’s a seriously good 2018 Vacqueyras that will have 8-10 years of ultimate longevity."
