2013 Manoir du Carra Beaujolais-Villages - 88 PTS - WA

wa88"The 2013 Beaujolais Villages “Cuvee Non-Filtre” comes from vines aged between 70 and 100 years and after semi-carbonic maceration is aged in wooden foudres. It has a caressing nose of pure strawberries and cream that is very defined and seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins, lively red cherry fruit and pleasing weight on the tense finish. Drink now-2017.- Neal Martin "

2016 Manoir du Carra Beaujolais-Villages - 90 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"Lurid ruby-red. Bright, sharply defined red fruit and floral scents are sharpened by a mineral nuance that builds with aeration. Shows very good clarity and bite on the palate, offering subtly sweet raspberry and cherry flavors that deepen on the back half. Fine-grained tannins shape the finish, which lingers with very good, spicy tenacity. - Josh Raynolds"
