"A rich, exotic style, with tiers of smoke, butterscotch, marshmallow, white peach and nectarine. Lively acidity keeps the flavors fresh, showing enough creaminess to provide a soothing texture. Great length. Drink now through 2020. 110 cases made. –JL"

"A wine of depth and power, the 2013 Chardonnay Silver Eagle Vineyard races across the palate with notable intensity. This is a gorgeous Chardonnay that manages to be both vivid and ample. Underlying saline notes give a sense of proportion and keep the wine from being too blowsy. The Silver Eagle is also characterized by a slight note of reduction that is quite common in white Burgundy. In my view, the reductive elements are well balanced and add character here, but they may not be every reader's cup of tea in Sonoma Chardonnay. In my book, though, the Silver Eagle is fabulous. - Antonio Galloni"
"The 2014 Chardonnay Silver Eagle Vineyard is flat out gorgeous. Ample, unctuous and inviting, the 2014 offers exceptional depth, silkiness and nuance. Apricot jam, honey, honeysuckle, orange peel and baked apple all flesh out in the glass. The interplay of rich, textured fruit and bright aromatics is compelling. The 2014 is a bold, opulent wine from Matt Courtney and yet it retains remarkable balance.”
"Aims for delicacy and finesse, with lighter shades of pear, toast, fig and melon, ending clean and elegant. Drink now. 110 cases made.– JL”
"The Silver Eagle Vineyard is owned and farmed by Ulises Valdez. The 2016 Chardonnay Silver Eagle Vineyard has a gorgeous nose of honeycomb and beeswax, crushed stone, toasted hazelnut and lime peel with a core of Golden Delicious, quince, apricot and peach. Medium to full-bodied and intensely flavorful in the mouth, it's balanced by very juicy acidity and a touch of texture, finishing very long, honeyed and layered. Yum! 110 cases produced. - Erin Brooks”
