Pago de los Capellanes Ribera del Duero Un Sueno en Las Alturas
Pago de los Capellanes
Spain - Castilla y Leon - Ribera del Duero

In the highlands of the extreme south of the Ribera del Duero, we open the horizon to a wine with the freshness and special energy that altitude brings.

A mosaic of old vines on the rugged slopes and hills. A unique geography, with reddish soils and ancient geology. An environment of rich biodiversity. And a path of enthusiasm, work and respect for the traditional viticulture of three towns at the foot of the Serrezuela, on the edge of the Designation of Origin: Fuentenebro, Pardilla and Honrubia de la Cuesta.

From this unique sum, so rooted in the natural virtues of the area, a wine of finesse and mineral character is born. A unique look at an unforgettable territory and landscape, which we express in the purity and aerial identity of A "Dream in the Heights" ("Sueno en las alturas" in Spanish).

wine spectator 94 pts"There’s power to this rich red, but it’s cloaked in a silky texture and seamless integration. A core of baked blackberry and plum sauce is accented by fragrant notes of ground coffee, mountain herbs, iron and anise, while the tang of blood orange–infused acidity refreshes the finish, firmed by sculpted tannins. Drink now through 2041. - Alison NAPJUS"
