Antonio Camillo Ciliegiolo Vallerana Alta
Antonio Camillo
Italy - Toscana - Toscana IGT

100% Ciliegiolo from a single 1-hectare vineyard, half of which was planted in 1954 and the other half in 1968. Located near Capalbio, in the Vallerana Alta area. Red gravel covered clay soil in the vineyards. Maceration on the skins for 30 days. Aged in 20-hectoliter oak barrels for 12 months, then 4 months and cement, and 10 months in bottle.
The Ciliegiolo Toscana IGT Vallerana Alta by Antonio Camillo is a wine that celebrates the essence of the Tuscan terroir, expressing the authenticity of a native grape variety often undervalued. Cultivated on the hills of Vallerana, in a territory rich in history and charm, this wine is characterized by its intense ruby color, accompanied by vibrant aromas of ripe cherry, spicy notes, and a floral touch. The Ciliegiolo, known for its elegant structure and soft tannins, finds here a perfect balance thanks to careful aging that enhances its freshness and aromatic complexity. On the palate, it is harmonious and enveloping, with a long persistence that recalls red fruits and delicate herbal nuances.
