vinous logo"(from roughly 40-year-old vines on clay and chalk soil between Fuissé and Davayé; the estate did not make this wine in 2016 due to hail): Bright, light yellow. Deeply pitched aromas of yellow peach, mirabelle, spices and noble herbs. Generous, ripe, spicy and clean; the sweetest wine to this point in my tasting at this estate but nicely supported by fresh acidity. Concentrated, fine-grained wine with a hint of warmth (the alcohol here is 13.6%) but also noteworthy white-peppery lift to its appley finish.- Stephen Tanzer"
