Antonio Camillo Morellino di Scansano
Antonio Camillo
Italy - Toscana - Toscana IGT

This wine is born on the sunny hills of the Tuscan Maremma, a land rich in winemaking history and a Mediterranean climate ideal for Sangiovese, the grape variety that is the protagonist of this denomination. This wine stands out for its ability to best express the varietal characteristics of Sangiovese, offering a soft tannic texture and a fresh balance that enhance its drinkability.

100% Sangiovese from 20-year-old vines near Manciano (clayey, rich soils). Maceration on skins for 15 days. Aged 8 months in cement.
The aging helps maintain an intense aromatic profile made of ripe red fruits, cherry and currant notes, enriched by spicy suggestions. On the palate it is harmonious, with a pleasant acidity that enhances its longevity and versatility at the table.
Typical morellino, fruity and crunchy. You can smell sensations of red and purple fruit; fruity and fragrant in the mouth, grippy tannins in youth, smooth and round after a few months in the bottle.

Ideal with red meat dishes, roasts, and aged cheeses, it reflects the authenticity of the Maremma territory with elegance and character.
