Weingut Proidl
Austria - Kremstal

Having immigrated from the Bremen area in 1650, Proidl has been growing wine at the current location since 1738. The winery is located at the beginning of the Kremstal wine-growing region. It connects the wine-growing region of the Wachau with the landscape of deeply cut river valleys typical of the Waldviertel, which is divided by forest and rock.

Due to the long roots, a lot of knowledge has developed in their family in dealing with the local steep slopes!

In the field of tension between the experience of generations and their curiosity about everything worth knowing, a living of meaningful tradition emerges. They see themselves as craftsmen and as mountain winegrowers with a past and present.
