Rubus Vin Gris
Rubus Project
France - Languedoc-Roussillon - Corbieres

The Rubus Project was created by Fran Kysela as a way to source & sell incredible wines at value prices. All wines in this international project are hand-selected by Fran Kysela. Rubus wines are fruit driven, true-to-type values that over deliver - a true representation of quality for the consumer at an excellent price.

For this special blend for Kysela, the producer devoted extra focus to the pruning technique, lowering yields, sorting the grapes, selecting the tanks & continuing their environmentally conscious approach to vine growing, harvest and winemaking.

Pale pink rose color with salmon hues. Delicate strawberry nose, savory berries and cherries, and a touch of dried herbs and minerality. A classic gris de gris at a great value price.

Aromas and flavors of cranberry relish, rose petal, pineapple, and bread crusts with a supple, crisp, dryish light body and a silky, swift finish with notes of watermelon rind and white strawberry with no oak flavor. A light and somewhat tropical French Rosé for easy summer quaffing."

Shows just a hint of heat on the finish. A great patio wine, especially with an ice cube or two.80% Grenache, 10% Carignan, and 10% Cinsault hand harvested and fermented and aged on the lees in stainless steel for 3 months. - Don WINKLER"

The palate is balanced and easy-drinking, with ample acidity to balance the riper fruit tones than the nose initially offered. The finish is quick, but clean. Drink now. - LAUREN BUZZEO"
