Rubus Vin Gris
Rubus Project
France - Languedoc-Roussillon - Corbieres

The Rubus Project was created by Fran Kysela as a way to source & sell incredible wines at value prices. All wines in this international project are hand-selected by Fran Kysela. Rubus wines are fruit driven, true-to-type values that over deliver - a true representation of quality for the consumer at an excellent price.

For this special blend for Kysela, the producer devoted extra focus to the pruning technique, lowering yields, sorting the grapes, selecting the tanks & continuing their environmentally conscious approach to vine growing, harvest and winemaking.

Pale pink rose color with salmon hues. Delicate strawberry nose, savory berries and cherries, and a touch of dried herbs and minerality. A classic gris de gris at a great value price.

i winereview logo"Pale salmon pink. Revealing a perfumed bouquet of strawberries and rose petals, this is a mineral-driven, fresh and refreshing rosé. It offers a savory, slightly saline palate with notes of dried herbs and dried berries. A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Carignan, 10% Cinsault. 13.5% alc. Well priced. - Don Winkler"

jeb dunnuck logo 250"A selection made by importer Fran Kysela, the 2016 Vin-Gris Rosé is a blend of 80% Grenache and 10% each of Carignan and Cinsault. It has a clean, classic style as well as notes of cherry blossom, crushed rocks and dried strawberries. With medium-bodied richness, nicely integrated acidity and clean, dry finish, it’s another terrific Rosé from the Corbières that’s ideal for drinking over the coming 4-5 months. - Jeb Dunnuck"
